Drug charges;           

On 09 November 2020 at approximately 6:44 pm., officer on patrol was checking Lions Park off Tarry parkway Aylmer ON when he located a 2006 Infinity with two male occupants. While speaking to the males, officer detected odour of burning marijuana and observed drug paraphernalia in plain view. Further search of the vehicle revealed 13 grams of marijuana. As a result, 20-year-old male from Aylmer was charged with have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available. Passenger in the vehicle, 16-year-old male also from Aylmer was charged with Person under 19 years – possess cannabis.

Motor Vehicle Collision;

On November 10, 2020 at approximately 2:00 pm., Aylmer police investigated a motor vehicle collision that occurred on John St. South Aylmer ON. Investigation revealed that a 2007 Chev being operated by a 63-year-old male from Malahide was exiting a private driveway on to John St. South. A 2004 Ford Pick Up being driven by a 24-year-old male from Aylmer was South Bound on John St. Driver of the Chev pulled out on front of the Ford and struck the centre area of the pick up causing moderate damage. Chev sustained damage to the right front corner area. Driver of the Chev was charged with failing to yield from private driveway.
