Drug warrant execution;

On 02 Mar. 2022 during early morning hours, Aylmer Police crime unit and uniform patrol with the assistance OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and St. Thomas Police Service Street Crime Unit executed search warrants at 2 separate residences on Melanie Drive and Sydenham St. E  in the Town of Aylmer

The search resulted in a seizure of approximately 360 grams of Crystal meth, 3 lbs. of cannabis marijuana and quantity of morphine, benzodiazepine and other pills yet to be identified. In addition officers seized several prohibited weapons.

To date;

A 33 year old male, 28 year old male and a 34 year old female all from Aylmer have been charged with;

1. Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
2. Possession of morphine for the purposes of trafficking
3. Possession of Clonazepam for the purposes of trafficking
4. Possession of cannabis for the purposes of trafficking
5. Possession of a weapon (conduct energy weapon) for the purpose dangerous to the public peace
6. Possession of stolen property
7. Possession of a weapon (switch blade) dangerous to the public peace

Police investigation is on-going and further charges are pending.
